Either way one can reach out to Hurston as she pulls the respected audience; exactly why Walker went to such extent to go "Sherlock Holmes" style and discover her grave, and make it something memorable till this day, Hurston sure does deserve it.
Walker realizes why Hurston has not obtained a proper burial, things from the present does not reflect the past at all, except for the settings that Hurston describes in one of her book; as time goes on things change, and that is exactly what has happened.
